The ECHO is the update to the beloved ALL ROAD frameset, and it earns its accolades with flip chips in the dropouts that let it jump from a tight, reactive road racer to a stable, slacked-out gravel sled with 40mm tire clearance.
The ECHO is all-road, evolved. Literally, actually – it’s the update to our beloved ALL ROAD frameset, and it earns its accolades with flip chips in the dropouts that let it jump from a tight, reactive road racer to a stable, slacked-out gravel sled with 40mm tire clearance. It’s one bike with two rides. The only limit is your imagination. And with this special pricing, courtesy a box of new-old-stock Force D1, limitless imagination is more affordable than ever.
A typical bike peddler might balk at the idea of pushing a machine with prior-gen kit. But we’re not typical – and, admittedly, neither is the ECHO AXS LTD’s blend of Force D1 with Rival shifters. The rest of the build is the same as our up-to-date ECHO Force, including ZIPP 303 S carbon wheels, the premium ALLIED stem, and the dialable convenience of eTap shifting.
But yeah. The drivetrain is atypical; however, those changes net huge savings that we think will overcome any aversion a cyclist might have to wearing last season’s styles – after all, you can always tinker with the drivetrain in the coming years, and we know you will. But the unrivaled quality of ALLIED carbon and the all-road versatility of the ECHO’s eccentric chips make this frameset a forever bike.
The only question to answer is: Are you into ride performance and carbon construction quality, or are you just interested in half-wheeling the Joneses with the newest shiny objects?
